Physical Therapists
Faith Ann Augustus, MPT received a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med from Kutztown University. She earned her Bachelor of Health Science and Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science in 1997. Faith began with Cindy as a student in 1997, and then worked part time in the evenings after graduation. Faith worked as a staff therapist at Lehigh Valley Hospital with special interests in pediatrics, burn and wound care. Faith has been trained in Neuro Developmental treatment-completing the Pediatric eight week course. She has presented research findings at two national conferences. She is a member of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association and American Physical Therapy Association- including sections on Pediatrics & Aquatics.
Debbie Chabak, MSPT received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1991 and her Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1993 from Arcadia (Beaver) College. She has worked at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Life Quest, and has been with Cindy Miles since November 2000. Her clinical experience in pediatrics includes acute/burn/trauma care, NICU, PICU, Early Intervention through Northampton and Lehigh Counties as well as outpatient treatment. Debbie has completed her eight week Pediatric NDT training in children with Lois Bly in 2003.
Andrew Sutphin, DPT, CSCS, graduated from the University of Pttsburgh with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology (2002) and a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005. Andrew began as a volunteer at Cindy’s clinic for two years, accumulating 150 hours of clinical experience. Andrew completed a year long internship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh prior to graduation. Clinical experience included acute/trauma care, NICU, PICU, and orthopedic injuries. Andrew became certified as a strength and conditioning specialist in 2004.
Vicki Velopolcak, PTA received her Associates in Applied Science from Lehigh County Community College, and graduated with honors from the Physical Therapy Assistant Program in 1979. She is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Vicki began working with the pediatric and young adult population in 1979. Her employment experience includes working for United Cerebral Palsy of the Lehigh Valley, the Development Education service of Monroe County and the Colonial Northampton IU20. Vicki has worked closely with Cindy Miles since 1979 and has attended numerous conferences to enhance her abilities to serve and meet the needs of the children in her care.
