Speech Therapists
Danielle Bloomberg, BS, SLP/L is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Northeast Speech and Hearing Association of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Speech and Hearing Association. With experience since graduating in1969, Danielle has worked with parents to help them expand their child's developmental skills. As a speech therapist she has experience in articulation disorders, apraxia, feeding problems, autism, and developmental language problems. Danielle is the mother of two children and the proud grandmother of two grandsons.
Adria Geiger, MS, CCC/SLP/L,received her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 2004. She then earned her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Stroudsburg University in 2006. Adria is member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Adria joined Cindy Miles & Associates in 2007. She works part-time in addition to her part-time position with Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit.
Joy Dieffenderfer, Joy graduated from Penn
State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences
and Disorders. She went on to attend Clarion University where she received a
Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Upon completion of
her master’s degree program, Joy became accredited by the American Speech,
Language, and Hearing Association, received her PA state license and teaching
certificate. She previously worked for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network for
3 years on an outpatient basis with children and adults with varying diagnosis
including autism, Down Syndrome, Chromosome Reduplication, PDD-NOS, Mental
Retardation, Auditory Processing Disorders, Apraxia, Aphasia, Dysphagia,
Dysarthria, hearing loss and developmental delays. Joy currently works for
Cindy Miles part-time in conjunction with her position at East Penn School
District as a speech-language pathologist.
