 Cindy Miles, PT, MEd, PCS, has been serving the pediatric population since 1977. Initially she began her physical therapy practice in an acute care hospital setting, concentrating on pediatrics, sports medicine and orthopedics. She served as a staff member at a local infant and preschool program for over nine years. The private practice was established by Cindy Miles in 1981. She has been in private practice full time since 1987.
Cindy is a 1977 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health Related Professionals. She is a 1988 graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a Master of Education. In March 2005, Cindy will embark on her Doctoral studies in Pediatrics.
Cindy is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist, one of a handful nationally and locally.
 Cindy has completed the eight week Pediatric Neuro-Developmental training course and the Advanced Infant course. She has an extensive continuing education background in pediatrics and orthopedics.
Cindy has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1977, where she is also a member of the Pediatric, Neurology, Sports and Private Practice Sections. Cindy serves as chair of both the Pediatric and Sports Fitness Special Interest Group. She is also involved on several committees of the Private Practice Section. In addition; she is a member of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA).
